Si Xun

Si Xun was born in 1991.  She is missing a hand.  Her parents divorced, and neither one wanted her, so she now lives in the orphanage.  She is a very smart girl, and as Kenny says, she paints with her heart and soul, so her paintings are unusually beautiful and vivid.  Si Xun likes to paint love birds, because she hopes that all couples can love each other the way these birds love each other.

Photo of Artist & Teacher: Kenny

Kenny

Kenny volunteers as an art teacher in orphanages near Chongqing.  Kenny has a heart for orphans because he was raised in an orphanage.  He was in an orphanage because his parents, both physicians, were required to travel throughout China to help others, and were unable to raise Kenny and his two siblings.  Kenny is a gifted artist who deeply desires to help orphans learn how to support themselves when they leave the orphanage.  Often these children leave with no money, education or anyone to support them.  Kenny is completely supported by his parents and siblings, also doctors, so that he can do this important work full-time.
