This painting is of a wonderful Chinese poet from the Tang dynasty, Li Bai, who loved wine.  Here he has invited his friend Du Fu, another famous poet, to enjoy Chinese wine together.  The full title of this painting is, "Your overflowing hospitality outshine the golden jar overflowing with good wines."
